Leicester, United Kingdom (PressExposure) July 31, 2009 -- As with any industry, it is important for those in the web design and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) sectors to be aware of the latest breaking stories, trends and topics featuring in the media that are related to their business.
As a company specialising in Website Design and SEO, The Creare Group are consistently aiming to keep themselves, their employees and even their clients informed of the latest industry news. There are a variety of ways that they do this, through articles, press releases and most recently video blogs presented by SEO Consultant, Nick Rinylo and Web Designer, James Bavington.
'In an industry such as web design and SEO that is growing and adapting all the time, it is essential that you are aware of the very latest news and issues. We always try to update our employees and our clients so they are always well informed of the latest developments.' Nick Rinylo, SEO Consultant.
Perhaps one of the most influential stories to break most recently, is concerning the relationship status of Microsoft and Yahoo. The pair are reported to have joined forces in a bid to challenge Google, arguably the biggest player in terms of search engines in the online world.
So what exactly is this story all about?
Put simply, a ten year deal has been reached by Yahoo and Microsoft to combine their expertise so that they can compete with search engine Google. They are expected to merge Microsoft's latest search engine Bing with Yahoo's technology and knowledge, to deal with the other areas of the business.
The Creare Group's very own SEO expert, Nick Rinylo, has taken an in depth look at the pros and cons of such a deal being reached, in this week's SEO Video Blog.
He will look at the aesthetic benefits of Bing as opposed to Google. As well as the technological benefits of combining a search engine with the technical know-how of Yahoo, focussing upon refining search queries and RSS feeds.
In addition to presenting an overview of the new system, Nick will test both Google and Bing. He will compare the two using an innovative new website that shows the search results from the two search engines on a split screen.
