The Call for Entries: Best HDTV Accessories of 2011 Awards

New York , NY (PressExposure) December 30, 2011 -- The HDTV, featuring the new, cutting-edge HDTV Product Finder, is calling for all HDTV owners and enthusiasts to identify the top, high quality, "helpful but obscure" HDTV accessories of 2011. The contest will honor the less popular, but valuable HDTV accessory gems. The annual contest features the best of the best HDTV add-ons, across a wide selection of categories, ranging from gaming accessories to video to audio.

The company wanted to launch a contest that simultaneously praised obscure accessories, while giving back to the HDTV community at large. Company spokesman, Chris Powers, elaborates on this concept, "This is our first annual awards for the best HDTV accessories for the year of 2011 which will feature the top products TV viewers can get their hands on to greatly enhance their HDTV viewing experience. Since the criteria for making the final list is that the product be of the lesser known variety, this will help HDTV owners locate those hidden golden nuggets out there that will maximize their HDTV viewing experience. It also gives product manufacturers much needed exposure for lesser-known but high quality HDTV add-ons."

Contestant entries must follow the below criteria in order to be eligible:

• Accessories should enrich the HDTV community
• Accessories shouldn't be popular
• Accessories should improve viewing quality

Contestant winners will be featured online via the site and on the soon to be released in early 2012 HDTV Genie online magazine.

The contest will also give some much needed praise to the product manufacturers of the HDTV accessories.

Contestants looking to enter the contest should visit the official contest page to submit their entries. The contest is open to any and everyone from the HDTV fans, to the accessory creators and manufacturers themselves. The contest ends in mid-January 2012; when the winners are revealed on the site.
