The Mayan Doomsday of 2012 to Be Prevented by Former King of Atlantis

Conifer, CO (PressExposure) November 06, 2009 -- Author Lanaia Lee will launch her much-awaited sequel to her first in a 5-book series, Of Atlantis. In this series, she pokes and probes history's mysteries by injecting her characters into historical events with electrifying results.

With a stroke-induced disability, Lanaia Lee has spent the last 16 years learning to manage her life iin a wheelchair. She quickly discovered that while her singing voice was gone, her writing abilities grew. Working closely with her husband, David, who is her biggest supporter and also in a wheelchair, she has completed the 5-book series in 3 years typing with one hand and is on to writing two other books.

"I love blending historical fiction with modern day fantasy," says Lee. "It's a challenge to incorporate the great mysteries and legends of the past into a well-woven story in the present."

Skulls of Salvation follows Damien, successor to the powerful Archimedes, former King of Atlantis, and his wife, Ionna as they battle against the forces of evil that threaten to end civilization as we know it. Determined to find the three missing crystal skulls of Belize which offer the only hope to preventing the completion of the doomsday prophecy of the Mayans, they must first defeat an age-old enemy, Uric, whose relentless quest threatens to take mankind to its final destruction on December 21, 2012.

While written in 2006 and vastly different, its release is timed nicely to coincide with the upcoming disaster movie, 2012 starring John Cusack due out on November 13. Lee's expertise has been sought by media worldwide, launching her book into the "big time". Read a chapter at
