London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) April 29, 2009 -- OLCI Construction Training is delighted to announce the results to its poll into what the nation will be doing on the forthcoming Bank Holiday on Monday 4th May 2009. With a staggering 18% of the vote, the UK will be gardening, closely followed by car maintenance with 14% and painting and decorating with 10%.
The 18% doing gardening will be hoping for fine weather that traditionally deserts the country on a Bank Holiday. 14% will be working on their cars, either tinkering under the bonnet or cleaning them. 10% will be painting and decorating, followed in descending order, by fitting shelves, fixing toilets and showers, and changing lightbulbs.
As OLCI is the UKâs only nationwide provider of plumbing courses, electrical courses and gas courses, with 13 centres throughout the UK, the company will surely be pleased that only 6% of voters will be avoiding DIY entirely!
Announcing the results of the poll, Elin Norlin, OLCI Marketing Manager commented: âThe poll on http://www.olci.info captured the imagination of visitors and OLCI are delighted to have given an insight into what the nation will be doing on their Bank Holiday. The results suggest that although Monday 4th May is technically a day off from work, the vast majority of people will be working just as hard!â
