Bangkok, Thailand (PressExposure) January 20, 2012 -- The Rembrandt Hotel coordinated with Business for Rural Education And Development (B.R.E.A.D) to support the rice from Burrirum local school. The Rembrandt Hotel now starts serving the guests the high-quality organic jasmine rice provided by the School Rice Project grown by the local farmers around community center in Burirum province.
The planting and harvesting process are involved by students, teachers and parents from Mechai Pattana School with the support of Thai Rice College producing authentic 100 percent jasmine rice. It is pleasure of the Rembrandt Hotel to become one of the sustainable sources of incomes for the local community and B.R.E.A.D will donate all of its profits to Meechai Pattana School and other Population Development Association effort in the local community.
The Meechai Pattana school is a great example of innovative school in Thailand providing an education for the local children for free while develop both the student intellect and character and exposes them to every thing from basic agriculture techniques to cutting edge technology. The school also serves as a development centre for the local community giving them access the education, training and sustainable living.
