The "The Boys Of Fall" Singer Earned Five Nominations - More Than Any Other Male Artist

Las Vegas, Nevada (PressExposure) February 08, 2011 -- The nominations for the 46th ACM Awards have been announced and Kenny Chesney has all the reasons to be on smiles. The "The Boys of Fall" singer earned five nominations more than any other male artist nominated for the awards. The 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards nominations were revealed through a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on Tuesday, February 1.

Miranda Lambert tops the list by 7 nominations followed by Kenny with five. Other artists nominated for ACM Awards include Zac Brown Band (5) and Taylor Swift (4). Kenny is in battle with Miranda over Video of the Year award and his other nomination is for Single Record of the Year award for his track "The Boys of Fall" from his latest album Hemingway's Whiskey. The album is also in competition for Album of the year award with Taylor Swift. The live ceremony of ACM Awards will be airing on April 3 at 8pm ET from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Kenny Chesney, the one of finest country music artist has 14 gold out of his 15 recorded albums on his record and the New Year seems to add more prestigious to the credit list of the singer. The 42 year old Tennessee born singer has been honored as the Tennessean of the Year by the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. The 2011 Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Awards will be held on February 11 in the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville.

Chesney, a big football lover has produced another documentary with the title 'The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story' based on the life of Condredge Holloway, the first starting African-American quarterback at the University of Tennessee. Both Kenny and Condredge will attend the premier of the football movie on February 16 at the Tennessee Theater in Knoxville. ESPN will first broadcast the movie on February 20 at 8pm ET on ESPN.

Kenny, the best ticket selling singer has announced dates for its upcoming 2011 "Going Costal Tour" that will kick start on March 17, 2011 from West Palm Beach, FL.
