Thomas Knight Opens Doors On A New Venture

Springfield, Oregon (PressExposure) January 12, 2012 -- Thomas Knight begins new venture with Global Perspective Education Consulting

After leaving Fieldstone Academy in August, Thomas Knight remains at the forefront of the education consulting business. With an extensive number of phone calls and e-mails requesting information or help Mr. Knight has taken the next step and has created a new consulting firm. Global Perspective Education Consulting is already a hot commodity with requests from Chile, India, China, Burkina Faso and Nigeria already in the works.

During his time as Director of International Recruiting at Fieldstone Academy, Mr. Knight traveled throughout Europe and Asia and established numerous relationships with education consultants and agencies which in turn provided Fieldstone Academy with a previously untapped marketing and recruiting pipeline. After his final successful recruiting trip to Asia Mr. Knight decided it was time for a change and set about opening his own consulting practice. "I had accomplished what Fieldstone asked of me as far as recruiting numbers go and when I sat down and thought about it, it just seemed to be the natural next step. The reality is there are thousands of schools in the United States who could benefit financially and culturally by recruiting foreign students, yet these schools often lack the knowledge or resources to do so. Global Perspective Education Consulting is a new tool for these schools...we allow them to expand their product beyond our borders."

Global Perspective Education Consulting works with a wide variety of educational opportunities including residential treatment, boarding schools, student recruiting, study abroad and strategic partnerships. "Some of the most intriguing phone calls I receive are from foreign high schools and universities who aren't looking for students; rather, they are seeking a partnership with American high schools and universities in forming dual diploma programs. Dual diploma programs are becoming more and more prominent and I see no reason why anyone would not want to take advantage of these programs and form what could be a very lucrative partnership."

Mr. Knight, a Who's Who VIP of the Year in Education, and his business partner Jonathan Porras, a South American Specialist with many connections, are ready and anxious to form more working relationships with schools throughout the United States. With their numerous contacts and current partnerships with foreign education agents and consultants both partners firmly believe they can help any school increase their recruiting numbers. "We have the resources at our fingertips. We have parents and agencies that are waiting to send students to schools. This is an exciting time in the business. Global Perspective Education Consulting is an opportunity for schools who can't afford a full-time recruiter to maximize on their foreign and domestic recruiting potential."

With their new office in Oregon, and with future recruiting trips in the works, Mr. Knight and Mr. Porras are ready to tackle this new and exciting endeavor. Schools or agents interested in contacting Global Perspective should direct all calls twenty-four hours a day to (541) 870-0334.
