PrimeDoc physicians enjoy work-life balance with blocked scheduling. Predictable schedules allow PrimeDoc physicians to better plan their lives and family time. Hospitalists are not on-call and not in-house, promoting more flexibility in work schedules. Annualized, each PrimeDoc hospitalist physician is off for 20 to 26 weeks per year, depending on the specific schedule at each practice. While many programs implement a 7-on, 7-off rotation, each PrimeDoc practice has the flexibility and freedom to modify schedules to fit the needs of their practice and client hospital facility.
PrimeDoc physicians can choose from multiple employment options. Not every physician desires a full-time hospitalist job. We've reengineered the hospitalist staffing model to offer our physicians a variety of employment options, including Full-time, Part-time, Nocturnalist, Job-Share, PRN and Internal PrimeDoc Locum.
