St. Paul, MN (PressExposure) September 02, 2014 -- Skyline Exhibits' popular line of custom trade show displays, Envoy, is more eye-catching than ever. The modular exhibiting system now offers a two-sided backlighting option for kiosks and large structures. This double-sided backlighting delivers high-impact visibility when coupled with Skyline's customizable Performa fabrics.
"Exhibitors have already embraced the modern, clean look of Skyline's Envoy Exhibit System, it's an extremely popular exhibit system. We've had a lot of requests for backlighting, because exhibitors love how backlit graphics attract more attention. Now we can easily backlight on both sides of an Envoy component, doubling the impact in island exhibit spaces," said Karen Gauthier of Product Marketing at Skyline Exhibits http://www.skyline.com.
The new backlight system lights both sides of the exhibit design using only one light set, which is integrated into the structural hardware of the display. The set uses energy-efficient LEDs that are cooler than traditional lighting options and are configured in such a way as to reduce hot spots. Merchandizing options are available for use in conjunction with the lighting to maximize visual impact. When used along with changeable Performa fabric coverings, the new system delivers a smooth, even and natural light spread.
Envoy is one of Skyline Exhibits' most popular modular trade show booth systems. Lightweight aluminum framing makes Envoy portable enough for easy transport to trade shows and special events, but strong enough for permanent installations. Dye-sublimated backlit fabric graphics enhance the look of the displays and are fully washable, making them long lasting as well.
Envoy is an award-winning exhibiting system, having won the 2010 Buyers Choice Award at the EXHIBITOR Show, the trade show industry's biggest event. The new lighting components are available in two standard packages: (1) 46" x46"and 69"x46", (2) 46"x92" and 69"x92" Envoy monoliths. Custom configurations are built from light module packages and specialized spanners. Dual voltage allows for both 120 and 220V power. An IEC country cord is needed for the transformer and the cord choice is part of the configuration.
"Exhibitors love the clean and modern look of Envoy. It's a great investment for exhibitors who want to save on the long-term costs of exhibiting because of its lightweight and modular nature. Lighter exhibits save money on shipping, drayage, storage and I&D while modular displays offer design flexibility," said Gauthier.
