The âSixth Annual UniKeep Design Awards Contestâ begins January 1 and ends December 31, 2009. In addition to five monthly contest categories, 2009 will have four quarterly Bonus Categories to showcase creative designs for Univentureâs eco-friendly organizing and archival products. Judges for the UniKeep Design Awards for 2009 will be Jane Guthrie, Editor of Scrapbooking & Beyond and Paper Creations magazines and Judi Kauffman, MFA, a nationally known designer, writer and teacher, and Ginger Olivieri, a graphic designer and graduate of New Yorkâs School of Visual Arts.

Entries may be submitted in one of five categories to win monthly cash prizes and the first 25 entries each month also receive a binder sample with the entrantâs printed artwork inserted. The Bonus Category theme and product to design will change and be judged quarterly.

The UniKeep Annual Design Awards Contest was originated to provide graphic designers a chance to win cash for original, copyright-free designs authorized for public use. Links to entries will be posted in the UniKeep 2009 Gallery to access for personal use. The monthly award will be $100 to each category winner and $500 to each quarterly bonus category winner. At the end of the contest, $500 and an Intuos3 4x6 Wacom Pen Tablet will be awarded to each overall "Best of Category" and $1,500 and an Intuos3 6x11 Wacom Pen Tablet will be awarded as the Grand Prize to the overall âBest of Showâ.
