Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) June 07, 2012 -- Valensi Rose, PLC senior Tax & Wealth Planning Partner, Philip S. Magaram, will be lecturing at the "Tax Planning and Charitable Giving - Looking Ahead," series of programs presented by the Jewish Community Foundation, Los Angeles. The series features industry experts in taxation, ethics, retirement and charitable gift planning, plus an opportunity for professional advisors to network with colleagues.
Mr. Magaram's program entitled "Portability or Exemption Trust- Which is Better?" will take place on June 13th at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills and on June 20th at The Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills. Both presentations are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
"I look forward to addressing the many issues tied to portability and exemption trusts," said Mr. Magaram. "Portability can be complex and it is crucial for the persons involved in estate planning to be educated on the many complexities that arise with portability."
Mr. Magaram's career spans over forty-five years of serving clients with complex business, personal, estate and tax issues. His level of experience, legal insight and business acumen has resulted in being retained by numerous extremely high net-worth clients. In 2012, Mr. Magaram was again named a "Super Lawyer" among Southern California lawyers for the ninth year in a row. He is State Bar Certified in taxation as well as estate planning, probate and trust law. Mr. Magaram received his B.S. with honors in accounting from UCLA and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law.
