Vandal-Proof Housing Provides A Higher Level Of Protection For Cameras

Taipei, Taiwan (PressExposure) June 18, 2009 -- Three vandal-proof cameras from ACUMEN are designed for video surveillance system that requires high level of protection. The housing is made of stiff zinc alloy and was tested to resist vicious impacts up to 500lbs efficiently, even in some cases of bullet shots.

All-weather camera Ai-IR97N - integrated IR illumination is composed of the 40 LEDs and a distance of 160 meters can be observed. Vari-focal lens 18 ~ 50mm and built-in IR Cut-filter Removable (ICR) are supplied. Focus distance of IR illumination is automatically functional. All-weather camera Ai-IR93 is twice smaller than Ai-IR97N, and a fairly powerful IR illumination range of 60m is supported. Developed technology Smart-IR-Control for Ai-IR93 can automatically adjust the brightness of the infrared light; therefore, a better quality image will be achieved.

The integrated automatic detection and back-light compensation effectively hides the dead zone and makes each frame a more clear and harmonious. The third model in the series - dome Ai-DC95. Infrared illumination camera also has an operating range of 60m and focus distance of IR, as Ai-IR97N operates automatically.

All cameras are high resolution - 600 TVL. Comply with standard IP66 - high humidity and thermal protection. For a sustainable and safe anchorage in the cameras, 3D-bracket is used and a built-in keyboard mechanism is equipped with.
