Wake Forest, NC (PressExposure) July 03, 2008 -- TheClassicalStation.org announces today its new partnership with Joplin, Missouri’s 88.7KXMS/Fine Arts Radio International®. The Missouri Southern State University station will rebroadcast WCPE’s programs daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during school vacations, as well as at various times while classes are in session.

“88.7KXMS/Fine Arts Radio International® is happy to partner with WCPE to bring our Four State Area listeners a variety of new programming and on-air voices,” says Jeff Skibbe, general manager of KXMS. “The service allows us to offer unique programming in a competitive classical/fine arts radio environment, and the information-rich Web site is a nice bonus for the curious classical listener.”

As part of its mission of providing Great Classical Music, 24 Hours A Day to everyone everywhere, WCPE has radio affiliates in nine states, as well as cable affiliates throughout the nation that rebroadcast its programming.

“Providing our service freely to other stations insures the growth of classical music programming in a rapidly changing market,” says WCPE Outreach Director Curtis Brothers. “We encourage stations interested in this service to contact us to discuss possibilities.”
