WSOP Main Event Final Table Focus of PocketFives Podcast

, Costa Rica (PressExposure) November 04, 2008 -- When play resumes in the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, 117 days will have passed since the final nine players were determined. This time, the action will move down the hall from the Amazon Room to the spacious Penn and Teller Theater, which will serve as the two-day home of the Main Event final table. Holding the third largest chip stack when play resumes will be member Scott "r_a_y" Montgomery. In the background will be Harrah’s Sports and Entertainment Director of Communications, Seth Palansky. Both join us this week on the Online Poker Podcast.

On the change of venue for the WSOP Main Event final table, Palansky explained, "We billed this as poker’s biggest night and felt it deserved its own stage setting appropriate to that. We’ve taken over the Penn and Teller Theater. We’re going to fill it with friends and family of the participants as well as the general public and hope to have a great couple of days."
