When Fashion is For a Cause

Jacksonville, FL (PressExposure) October 29, 2009 -- While some see fashion as a way to display their designs, others like FAB*LIS, use fashion as a way to bring interests to a cause. With so many children infected or affected by HIV or AIDS, FAB*LIS is giving fashion a cause by hosting a fashion show with a portion of the proceeds going to an organization to make these children’s lives better at Christmas time. Sparking support from New York Design Collection Eenamaria and Designs by Adrian, the support of designers, Jacksonville business owners and vocal artists has been the source of sponsorship for this event. While businesses may be having a tough time in the down economy, they haven’t forgotten the importance of giving to such an important cause.

Spring 2010 lines being the focus, as well as, new designs, the fashion show could be nothing but FAB*LIS. FAB*LIS is known for introducing their “thick” models in the non-traditional garments with class usually reserved for women under a size 12. It should be interesting and we can’t wait to see what comes down the runway.

The FAB*LIS Fashion Show will be hosted at the New ALOFT Hotel in Jacksonville, FL on November 7, 2009 at 7pm, show starts promptly at 8pm. Tickets are available online at: [http://www.urfablis.com] and can be purchased upon registration the night of the event.
