Newcastle, Tyne & Wear United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 23, 2012 -- Orange County, CA wedding dentist Dr. Eric Johnson is celebrating the 38 year anniversary for the dental office he operates, which is located at 647 Camino De Los Mares in San Clemente. To commemorate the office's 38 year legacy serving the community, Dr. Johnson has added a "patients served" tally to his website, viewable at http://www.drericjohnson.com
Since its founding and up until the present time, the office has served almost 17,000 patients. And during that time, they have established a strong reputation for outstanding dental care, as well as caring for the local community.
Dr. Potter started the practice 38 years ago. He worked with a few associates, Dr. McGuire (Mark McGuire's dad), for a few years. He started a practice that focused on high-end dentistry in a compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Jon Marashi worked the practice for 5 years. It's been a pillar in the community and has offered many years of service to San Clemente. "I'm proud to be a part of and to continue in a rich tradition that goes back 38 years of providing exceptional dental care (with passion!) to every patient, while at the same time seeking as many ways as possible to give back to the community" Dr. Johnson says. "Many of the folks in this area know Dr. Marashi (with whom I worked), and they know the level of commitment he had to serving his patients and being a strong contributor to local area causes. I'm humbled to have taken the reigns of this dental office from such a great doctor and I'm blessed to have the chance to continue the great work that he established here."
Dr. Johnson's team seeks to provide the "complete dental experience", combining his skill, passion and technology with a caring touch to give his patients not only outstanding dental care, but a fun and unique experience as well.
"We know all the jokes about going to the dentist" Dr. Johnson continues. "We know that for most people, visits to the dentist are considered a pain (literally). We want our patients to feel differently. We want them to feel not only like that received the level of care they needed, but that they were treated well and enjoyed the experience at the same time. And I believe the fact that this dental office has served nearly 17,000 patients is testament to the fact that our approach is the right one."
Aside from running an office that strives to deliver the ultimate dental experience, community involvement is very near and dear to Dr. Johnson's heart. Some of Dr. Johnson's community outreach efforts include:
* USC School of Dentistry El Salvador mission trip in April 2011 (pro bono)
* Supporting a patient who was a missionary to Kenya
* Support of and involvement in the San Clemente Boys and Girls Club
* Dental hygiene product donations to the men and women of the 21st Battalion
* Supporting the basic needs for the women at Toby's House
* Donation of free dental services to individuals at local drug & alcohol rehab centers
* Commitment to patronize local San Clemente businesses
* Support of and involvement in numerous dental organizations, non-profits, and charities like the Christian Medical & Dental Association, Compassion International, Boys & Girls Clubs of South County, and San Clemente High School
"I believe that we're all in this (life) together. And as such, we have a responsibility to help care for our friends and neighbors in our local community. I've been blessed with so much and I am grateful to have the opportunity to give a little bit back to help others that are less fortunate than me."
