Kingston, Jamaica (PressExposure) March 14, 2013 -- Solamon Energy is proud to announce it will attend the upcoming Kingston Alternative Energy Expo, slated to be held this April 20-21 at the Wyndham Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica. President Jay Yeo is excited about the numerous opportunities currently being developed in Jamaica and as a result many new partnerships in the pipeline, especially recognizing the need for specialized skill sets and talent in solar array construction and management.
"A green revolution is unfolding and Jamaica has the policy climate, public support, technology innovation and history of commitment to sustainability to become the leading edge player in this revolution," say Expo organizers. "Whether setting aggressive renewable energy goals, enacting the nation's first mandatory green building code, or launching a pioneering effort to retrofit millions of buildings constructed before the country had energy standards," they conclude, "Jamaica continues to set the pace for green policy, practice and economic opportunity."
The Expo intends to showcase the latest and emerging energy efficiency products and technologies designed to reduce energy usage, thereby reducing energy costs, enhancing competitiveness and maximizing returns. According to their website, the Expo intends to assemble the most visionary facilitators in energy to demonstrate the direct benefits of these new and emerging energy technologies.
One of the event organizers is US Solar, a company based in Florida offering solar training classes and programs.
Solamon Energy typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated photovoltaic cells over a package of land called the Apollo Acreâ¢. The company now also develops custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that are easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology and other innovative features to supply renewable energy.
