You Got It All - Reggae Version of the Old School Classic Released

New York, NY (PressExposure) June 24, 2009 -- You Got it All, originally sang by The Jets in the eighties is making a comeback to the airwaves with an interesting twist. Reggae/Soul singer, Alrica released a reggae version of the old school classic to the public in June 2009.

You may remember The Jet’s rendition of You Got it All that deeply touched its listeners’ innermost souls, with lyrics that were the definition of sweetness and a melody that, not only got stuck in your head, but in your heart. “You Got it All is on of my favorite songs of all time, so I was extremely excited to have the opportunity to record the song” said Alrica.

The new version of You Got it All was co-produced by JR Dread of Island Bwoy Music and Alrica and features a dancehall chant which replaces the saxophone solo at the end of the original song. Even with the dancehall addition and the change in style, it is clear that Alrica and JR Dread wanted to remain true to the romantic spirit of the song.

You Got it All is available for free download on Alrica’s website ( and MySpace profile (
