For less than a dollar, the Minor Toilet Rebuild app turns a user's cell phone into a handy DIY plumbing "how to" video tutorial. Cal's Plumbing Online's new toilet repair app is one of seven plumbing downloads that can be found in the reference section of the app store on a device or in the iTunes store on a PC.
Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users can now save money and conserve water by repairing their toilet with Cal's Plumbing Minor Toilet Rebuild application. The app supplies homeowners with a list of the required tools and supplies, a mini-PDF manual and a live-repair video showing the job step-by-step. In addition, iPhone app creator Cal Campbell, a.k.a. Master Plumber of the Universe, is available via email to answer questions related to the repair.
This new for 2009 app is one of seven plumbing repair downloads that can be found through the iTunes app store. Cal's Plumbing Online offers the following iPhone / iPod Touch instructional videos: emergency shut-offs / compression; emergency shut-offs / iron pipe angle; garbage disposal installation; minor toilet rebuild; Moen shower valve 1225 cartridge replacement; pop-up assembly installation; and single handle kitchen faucet installation.
