The series Manifest has made a huge fanbase after the three seasons of supernatural drama that includes confused passengers on flight 828. The best thing is that it is back with a bang with its 4th season. It has been doing major plot twists and wild cliffhanger endings for the last three seasons and this time it is even more bizarre.
We all know that NBC canceled Manifest after those breathtaking 3 seasons but we as the audience are so happy that the story didn’t end there and there’s something more they can offer. However, the fourth season is the last season of this very admired series. The 1st part of this season is now available to stream on Netflix. I was too excited to watch the episodes will all my high hopes and expectations and I won’t deny that the growing suspense was incredible throughout.
I just want to tell my readers that don’t be disappointed because I promise you guys that I won’t give any spoilers but there might be some spoilers about season three. This might be a little difficult read for people who haven’t watched any of the seasons of Manifest.
Long story short, we will just take a look back at the previous seasons where the series evolves around some passengers traveling to New York by Montego Air Flight 828. While traveling to the destination they suddenly realize that they have landed five years ahead of the future. Meanwhile, for the rest of the world, the Montego Flight 828 abruptly vanishes and the people in it are presumed to be dead. After a lot of hustle and bustle, when they finally return to the world, their loved ones struggle to cope with the new reality. The matter becomes more complex as the passengers of 828 have gained a new ability that builds a special vision in them to take action and help people.
Coming to this season, there is a major underground task force that investigates what exactly happened to flight 828. The task force includes NSA director Robert Vance who is the supervisor of this operation. But the makers of the series again give a plot twist in the end when the reconstructed plane again vanished into thin air with the captain inside it. The story starts to become more complicated when Grace gets killed, Cal vanishes magically, and Angelina runs away with Gace’s child.
What happens next is the biggest question now!!!
It is obvious that after all this happened, the Stone family is not at all doing well. It has been two years since the 3rd season of the series was published. The fearless leader Ben Stone is no more fearless than he was in the previous seasons. He is not desperate to find his kidnapped daughter even after the police gave up on it.
On the other hand, Cal has grown into a new personality because he and Gabriel are forced to stay at home because of their safety. The worse is that he keeps a relationship with ben even after barely giving some time to Cal. Michaela is left to tackle the lifeboat on her and it was only zen who tackled his family all by himself.
Throughout the seasons, Manifest retained its ability to balance the supernatural elements in the series. The balance between the bizarre supernatural elements and the deeply human emotions like grief and loss was beautifully made. They kept coming up with jaw-dropping twists.
The five-star rating for Manifest;
The storyline is compelling and the character development is at its best. It can be termed edge-of-your-seat suspense. Needless to say that Manifest season 4 has done a great start. The foundation of the remaining episodes is blowing the minds of its fans. It is also great news for the admirers that most of their questions till season 3 will now be revealed in this season.
Netflix has still not declared the dates when the final episodes will be published. But as we all know that filming all the episodes of Manifest season 4 is done, and the premier will be held sometime soon only.
