Langley, Canada (PressExposure) March 12, 2012 -- myYearbook Social Network Site Members Prepare To Boycott Their Own Site
The boycott is scheduled from March 15 at 12 am to March 22 at 12 am, a period of one week.
myYearbook is an International Social networking site which was originally made for students to keep in touch as a free or almost free site. The past three years has seen drastic changes, with more and more apps which must now be paid for to use. Ad space has increased and taken over half the pages. These ads have caused a page loading problem which in turn drains member's "Lunch Money" accounts which must be earned or bought. This is done by charging members for sending items that help other members earn "Lunch Money" multiple times although it fails to show that they have been sent most of the time. The apps advertisers put on the site so members can earn "Lunch Money" by playing or using them ( and watching the ads) fail to credit accounts with the money earned
Members also make contributions with "Lunch Money", earned in various ways, to different charities. There has never been any accounting as to who or where these monies have been paid to. Paid members have complained for more than a year about multiple issues with no response from management.

"We are trying to save management loss of face and revenue when there is a mass exit of this site. The point of the boycott is to show you what it would be like to lose a lot of people from your site. To save your site you must do something for the users to show good faith. Contact us quickly to avoid all this."
