redPear Announces April 22, 2009 Launch of Core Relationship Manager

Tempe, AZ (PressExposure) April 14, 2009 -- redPear, a Tempe-based web development company, announced today its revolutionary Relationship Manager, Core, will be launched on April 22, 2009. Core has been designed as the solution to “bottom-line” oriented CRMs that have proven problematic and ineffective for today’s relationship-driven business. “We were inspired to develop Core because we've realized the growing unrest among business professionals that recognize that we, as humans, are more than just our contact and business information, and that we have a growing hunger for a collaborative business tool that improves our working relationships. With that, some key features of Core include social media integration, a comprehensive rules and task engine, email and letter templates, and the collaborative Core Network, which allow for a holistic snapshot of an individual or organization, and more authentic, relationship-based business dealings,” said Brandon Willey, Founder and CEO of redPear, the company behind Core.

Core accounts are web-based, and owned by businesses and individuals, who are then able to share specified records and create networks for business collaboration through a system of gateways- a benefit to businesses with a need for internal project communications, today’s booming transient and freelance professionals and companies who work with them. When a job is completed, or an individual leaves a business, the gateway is closed and records are no longer shared.

Core’s database has been designed to interface with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter (with more Social Media integration to be introduced this summer), capturing not only individual contact information, but his or her public online profile information, and allows for the addition of multiple tags to assist with searches and to refresh the user on a person's interests. This results in a comprehensive overview of that individual, rather than just serving up contact and transactional information as with conventional CRMs. Industry-specific, plug-in modules are also in development to enhance usability. Modules aimed at Realtors, Loan Officers, and Escrow Officers will be rolled out first, with others for dispatching, distribution, health care and the ability for companies to develop their own modules coming in Fall 2009.

Core’s Rules Engine allows users to create customizable drop-down menus that allow for automatic task generation, based on an individual or company’s unique needs. Core may also be used to track referrals, manage projects by viewing progress, share files with others in the Core Network, and send mass and individual email communications. Printable form letters and mailing labels are saved in a template system, and email communications are saved in the Conversation stream for organized correspondence. The Activity Stream allows for quick reference to current tasks, birthdays, anniversaries and other information, which appears on the dashboard at all times.

Core is set to be introduced at three price points, based on user need. Core Starter, designed for individuals, is free. Starter will include all functionality of the software, but includes introductory library file storage and limited Work records. Core Pro, offered at $24.95 per month, has no space or record keeping limitations. Core Corporate is offered at $29.95 per gateway.
