Doctor Elizabeth Grammer graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Then, started working as a veterinarian at Southside Animal Hospital.
All thanks to Eliza’s academic qualifications that helped her climb the ladder of success so quickly. Her continued dedication and success in her work lead her to work with great veterinarians in her industry.

A 47 American veterinary doctor, Dr. Elizabeth Grammer is also a famous TV star. She is reckoned for her outstanding roles in reality TV shows. One of her shows is ‘The Incredible Dr. Pol.’ However, she left the show after a series of unprecedented events that made her focus solely on her personal life.
Graduating from Georgia University, Dr. Elizabeth landed her dream job in 2016 at the Pol’s clinic. The show was an incredible series that aired on National Geographic Channel. She worked there for 2 years. Post which, she got the opportunity for her roles in TV shows. She shot for 9 episodes.
Further, she left the job. Needless to speak about this but nobody could fill the void. Her absence was strongly felt by the show. Her fans kept asking about her. Their love for her kept them worried for so long and they never stopped asking questions about her.

What Happened to Dr. Elizabeth on Dr. Pol
This experience could be different for different people. While some may leave the show owing to misconduct or other ethical reasons, others request to be relieved from their duties.
But with Dr. Pol, none of the employees was asked to leave the show. And the same happened with Dr. Liz, who quit the show due to her issues. You may call it a chain of unfortunate events that led her to leave the show.
This all started on the 25th Dec 2016. The police received a call from her home, where she used to stay with her husband- Robert Grammer. As per the resorts, Robert was drunk on that particular day and went home wherein he asked for some medications from his wife.
In response, Dr. Elizabeth handed him a half ml of Butorphanol. This medication belongs to the class Morphine. This drug is administered to women in labor, migraine patients, or animals suffering from pain.
As soon as Robert injected the drug, his body stopped responding. While returning home, his first halt was Monroe County Hospital. All thanks to the police who provided an immediate response.
Unfortunately, the case got serious and doctors shifted him to Macon Medical Center. There, he was put on a ventilator. He was under a life support machine for 5 days.
5 days later, he passed away. His funeral was done at Coggins Funeral Home in 2017.

Three days after her husband was taken to the hospital, there was a series of investigations done at her house. According to the police, Eliza tried committing suicide. She was later admitted to Monroe hospital where she gained consciousness and later shifted to a psychic center- Macon Medical Center.
The police stated that her case would be brought to court and if found guilty, further actions will be taken against her. After all these unfortunate events in her life, she decided to keep her life private and limited.
But, even after this, 3 years later, her story came into the picture. It’s still unknown what happened after that. However, chances of her being in the lock-up are very rare.
What is Dr. Elizabeth from “The Incredible Dr. Pol” doing now?
There is no update as to what Dr. Elizabeth is up to these days. Some say she has been practicing at a private animal veterinary hospital in Georgia. But there is no confirmation.
It seems she went back to her hometown after whatever dark events happened in her life. Her work ethic and professionalism are something heard of. We’ve heard only and only positive reviews about her work while she was employed with Dr. Pol.
Though the National Geographic Channel had its fair share of controversies, the case of Grammar is the most serious. It left everyone shocked.

Born in 1973, in Georgia, Elizabeth was brought up on a farm. That’s where she developed a love for animals. She used to be around animals at an early age. This love compelled her to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine.
She has 4 children, named Nelson (Jeannie) Grammar, Kaeli (Cody) Gibson, Kourtney Jones, and Nick (Sloan) Grammar.
